Illustrated post card with large illustration from a photo of Louise Beatty Homer, the famous American operatic contralto who performed in concert halls and opera houses from 1895 until her retirement in 1932. Louise Homer is shown wearing an ornate, jeweled headdress from a costume she'd worn as Azucena in the opera Il Trovatore. The caption's text on the bottom says "Mme. Homer makes records only for the Victor. Come to our store and hear the great contralto's beautiful numbers". Stamped at the bottom reads "Ament's Music Store, Apollo PA, The Demonstrating Music [unreadable]". 2111 IXA-10-8-13. Back has blank space for writing your message and address. 6 1/4" x 3 1/2"
