    Virgil Thompson
    (1896-1989) who will conduct the 1960 world premiere of his Requiem Mass for chorus and orchestra, commissioned by the Crane School of Music at the State University of New York at Postdam, NY.

    . From the early 1950's, when she established Lillian Libman Associates, Miss Libman represented Jan Peerce, George London, Roberta Peters, Peter Schickele, Rudolf Nureyev and many other artists. She also represented the Mannes School of Music, the Aspen Music Festival and other institutions. Miss Libman was a personal representative for Stravinsky, and published a 1972 book about the composer, "And Music at the Close: Stravinsky's Last Years."
